We are interested in how genetic variation is shaped by natural processes on both microevolutionary and macroevolutionary scales. We use a combination of field, laboratory, and theoretical approaches. Although much of our research is focused on basic questions, we are also interested in applications to conservation biology and biotechnology. The links below provide additional details for specific areas of research.
